The Official Mujong Jingle Is Here!

We’re so excited to share something close to our hearts today: the official Mujong jingle is here!

Composed, performed, and produced entirely by our seven-year-old CEO, Kiki Boo, the track is built the same way Mujong itself is: simple building blocks, arranged with real musical logic, adding up to something that sticks in your head. Set in C major at a lively 110 beats per minute, Kiki wrote the lyrics, played every instrumental part herself — piano, cajón, drum kit, ukulele, and guitar — and sang the vocals. Her father co-produced and mixed the track in their home studio in Woodlands.

The words are almost defiantly simple:

Mujong Mujong Mujong / Play the beat, play along / Mujong Mujong Mujong / Every tile sings a song.

That simplicity is the point. A jingle a seven-year-old can write, perform, and sing convincingly is also proof of concept for the game underneath it: music theory doesn’t have to be intimidating to be real. The rhythm section alone — cajón and drum kit layered under piano and guitar — took several long weekends to record, mostly because Kiki insisted on playing every part herself rather than letting a backing track fill in the gaps.

We can’t wait for this jingle to do double duty: as a piece of music Kiki is genuinely proud of, and as the sonic signature for Mujong’s future promotional videos, synced to gameplay footage of tiles being drawn and discarded in time with the beat.
