Today we’re introducing our most deliberately simple product yet: Mujong Baby Mode, a stripped-down way to play that asks for exactly one prerequisite skill — the ability to count to four.

Zero. Kosong. 零. சுழி. No musical background needed — in English, Malay, Chinese, and Tamil, reflecting Singapore’s own linguistic mix right back at the audience it’s built for. The mechanics stay true to Mujong’s core loop — draw a tile, discard a tile — but are rebuilt around note values from a half to four beats, with the goal of building complete bars in common 4/4 time. Where Mujong Classic asks players to already grasp clefs, key signatures, and rhythm notation, Baby Mode asks only that a player can count and match.

Our tagline for it says it all: simple to start, hard to stop. Baby Mode isn’t a watered-down toy version of Mujong — it’s a genuinely different on-ramp, for players (and parents) who found Mujong Classic’s learning curve a real barrier.
