Mujong’s First Institutional Customer: Delivered to Yuhua Secondary School
A milestone we’ve been building toward since our Educator’s Pilot Programme launched: today marks Mujong’s first institutional sale! Kiki delivered a hands-on demo workshop to the music educators of Yuhua Secondary School, walking their aesthetics teaching team through how Mujong plays and how it maps onto real classroom teaching — and Yuhua has now come on board as our very first institutional customer.
Thank you so much to Yuhua Secondary’s aesthetics teaching team for their support, enthusiasm, and belief in this little game that started as a crazy idea at bedtime! The partnership is tied specifically to the school’s Music Elective Programme (MEP) — for anyone unfamiliar with Singapore’s school system, MEP is a Ministry of Education initiative offered at a select number of secondary schools for students with a strong aptitude and interest in music, going well beyond the compulsory general music lessons every student takes. MEP students follow a deeper, examinable syllabus covering music theory, composition, and ensemble performance, typically leading to an O-Level or equivalent qualification in music. Having Mujong evaluated and brought into a programme like that means the world to us.
Our hope is to make music theory less intimidating, more intuitive… and maybe just a little bit addictive. Here’s to many more classrooms ahead!
