Introducing Mujong™: A new way to learn, play, and fall in love with music
Hello Friends! I’m Kiki. I’m eight years old, and I love music, especially playing on my violin.
One day, my dad showed me a video of students learning chemistry using Mahjong I thought…
What if music could be played like a game too?
That’s how Mujong™ started — from a tiny idea at home.
Now, instead of just learning theory from worksheets, you can play with musical tiles, build bars, and learn rhythms without even realizing it!
I hope Mujong™ makes you smile, makes you think, and makes you love music just a little more each time you play.
Mujong™ (Patent Pending) is a revolutionary tile game that transforms music theory into an exciting, hands-on experience.
Inspired by the structure of mahjong and infused with the logic of Western music notation, Mujong lets players build musical bars using tiles that represent notes, rests, accidentals, clefs, key signatures, and time signatures.
Unlike flashcards or worksheets, Mujong™ is tactile, strategic, and highly replayable—designed to engage both the analytical and creative sides of the brain.
Think of it as:
Mahjong meets music theory
LEGO for composers
Chess for musicians
Players draw, discard, and assemble tiles to create valid bars of music, based on ever-changing keys and time signatures. With each game, they deepen their understanding of rhythm, pitch, and structure—without even realizing they’re studying.
Perfect for:
Music students
Teachers and schools
Curious young minds
Composers in need of a creative reset
Whether you’re new to music or looking to challenge your theory skills, Mujong™ turns learning into play.

Thank You For Your Feedbacks!
It started as a bedtime delay tactic. Kiki bounced into the bed, eyes sparkling, saying she had a business idea: a musical version of mahjong. I told her, 'Nice try. Lights off.' But the next morning, she brought it up again and this time, with the rules and logic. That was when I realised this could actually work. Mujong™ wasn’t just a child’s fantasy it had commercial potential, pedagogical value, and highly addictive!
When Kiki came up with Mujong™, I didn’t ask if it was possible. I asked: how can we help her make it real? Children have extraordinary ideas. What they often lack is belief from the adults around them. So instead of telling her what she couldn’t do, we built systems to show her what she could.
